NORIGIN MEDIA, a TV Everywhere Company, has today announced the company will host a conference panel session at TV Connect 2014, alongside senior industry spokespeople from leading operators Orange (France Telecom) and Boxer TV in Sweden. The Fireside Chat: ‘Taking stock of OTT-TVE in Europe,’ will take place on day 2, Wednesday 19th March from 12:50 – 13:20 at Olympia, London.

This panel session, presented by NORIGIN MEDIA, will provide a candid and detailed analysis of how TV Everywhere (TVE) solutions are evolving across Western Europe and Scandinavia. The ‘Fireside Chat’ will share insights into the continued uptake of OTT-TVE in these markets. Gilles Coullon, Director of TV Projects, Orange Group Corporate, France, is confirmed to speak, alongside Stefan Nyberg, Director Product Management, Teracom Group (Boxer Sweden and Boxer Denmark), Sweden and NORIGIN MEDIA´s Co-founder and Chief Executive, Espen Erikstad.

The Chromecast integration, which will be made available on the Hybrid Apps, the flagship native application product suite from Norigin Media will be demoed alongside live services delivered by the company. The multi-screen applications include a common HTML5 layer within all apps to enable operational sustainability and flexible UI/ UX implementation. The TVE applications serve many successful TV streaming services including Deutsche Telekom’s Bundesliga live football apps, as well as apps for Orange TV in Spain and Telenor in Denmark.

The company will be exhibiting the Hybrid Apps across all devices at TV Connect 2014 from the 18th to 20th March on stand 125.
