Norigin Media to offer OTT Testing-aaS

Norigin Media, a Scandinavian company that provides streaming solutions and services, has announced its latest offering, OTT Testing-aaS. The quality assurance packages aimed at Broadcasters and Operators will provide external validation and testing as-a-service for TV streaming related solutions.

The QA service packages are designed specifically for OTT and streaming products, and cover a wide range of devices, including Smart TVs, STBs, browsers, tablets, mobiles and game-consoles.

OTT service providers or other streaming technology companies can choose between a number of testing packages. The options include off the shelf ‘Template Testing’, ‘Bespoke Testing’ and ‘Device Certification’ packages based on device manufacturer checklists that are needed before commercially launching TV Apps in app stores.

“Quality Assurance is an integral part of our solutions and our QA Engineers are experienced specifically in the streaming and OTT domain. Our testing labs have efficient processes and a wide range of devices that have been collected over a decade, all of which has helped to create our new Testing as-a-Service (OTT Testing-aaS) packages. This should help the industry launch best in class services,” says Ajey Anand, CEO of Norigin Media.
