Norigin Media announces Global AI Hackathon on 21st June
Oslo, Norway – June 05, 2023 – Norigin Media, a leading CTV Solutions Company, has announced dates for Artificial intelligence (AI) themed Hackathon for designers, engineers, and product persons. The Generative AI topic is chosen with the intention to showcase the limitless future of TV consumption across a range of connected TVs and smart TVs.
Scheduled on the 21st of June 2023, Norigin Media has opened applications from companies around the world that work within the OTT and Streaming TV space. Industry experts will have the opportunity to flaunt ideas and innovations across the ever-evolving CTV App realms. The mid-summer event will have the following categories for participating teams of four:
- Designing TV Apps for prototyping UI/UX
- Code Creation for software engineering of CTV Apps
- Quality Assurance & Test Automation
- Product Feature Plugins for Search, Recommendations, etc
- Developer Experience Tooling and utilities
- An open-ended “Go Wild” category

Participants can apply by choosing their expertise on the application form and assembling their AI teams. Norigin Media will support teams with engineering resources if required. The hackathon is planned to be a remote affair or in person in Oslo, Norway.
