RiksTV and Norigin Launch CTV Deep-Linking in Norway
OSLO, Norway, September 7, 2026 – RiksTV, Norway’s leading digital terrestrial TV distributor, has introduced CTV deep-linking on select Smart TV apps. Built by Norigin Media, the RiksTV and Strim apps now offer a seamless integration to other leading OTT apps, like HBO Max and Viaplay, letting subscribers discover and access content across services from a single interface.
Streaming TV consumers in Norway can subscribe to the RiksTV app or its pure OTT app, Strim, and access a variety of linear channels and video-on-demand content. Now, services from broadcaster TV2 Norway, and media houses like Viaplay, and HBO Max are integrated into this experience. Norigin Media has delivered this UI/UX on a growing set of Smart TV device models.
This advancement allows subscribers to discover more content from one place. Norigin Media, a CTV App Store specialist company, designs, engineers and certifies multiscreen apps, so subscribers can access streaming services across a range of mobile and Smart TV platforms using the same codebase.
Jérôme Franck-Sætervoll, CEO of RiksTV and Strim said “This is a real milestone for our viewers, achieved together with Norigin Media and Titan OS. RiksTV and Strim have won numerous customer satisfaction awards over the years, and that’s a responsibility we take seriously and work continuously to live up to. Making sure our customers can access their favorite channels and streaming content wherever suits them best is core to what we do. As we keep aggregating more services, our goal stays the same: make it effortless for people to find the content they love.”
Ajey Anand, CEO of Norigin Media, commented: “RiksTV is one of the most distinctive digital terrestrial and streaming providers in Norway, offering the best of traditional and modern solutions to their subscribers. It has been a pleasure to partner with them and manage their Smart TV app development for many years now.” He added, “We hope we can further this unique experience for consumers on other Smart TV operating systems in the future.”
Norigin Media will demo its TV Apps at IBC in Amsterdam, September 11-14.
